18x18 Framed XL Floral Intaglio. The intaglio is 8” in diameter and mounted to the background color of your choice (shown with sage green). This frame is a gold metal with a saw hook back for easy mounting.

Our intaglios are made from high quality art plaster, therefore, each piece can slightly vary. Intaglio is an Italian word meaning "engrave." Intaglios were used to commemorate historical figures, architecture, and places. Before photography, people would collect Intaglios as keepsakes of their travels. During the 18th century, plaster intaglios became souvenirs for those embarking on the Grand Tour, a European journey emphasizing art and history.
